The role of Raptim in favour of the environment

Raptim Travel is an active shareholder of this means that Raptim customers' can compensate the CO₂ emissions related to their flights. CO₂ is the most important greenhouse gas, adding to the process of global warming. The compensation takes place through investments in renewable energy projects and the planting and protection of forests.
Trees use CO₂ to grow, thus taking it out of our atmosphere. Furthermore the forestry projects provide employment and education to local communities. Renewable energy is energy produced without the use of fossil fuels, thereby not emitting any CO₂. Raptim itself is in the process of compensating all CO₂ emissions related to Raptim employees travelling by plane and by car and all energy used in its' offices (ClimateNeutral).
